📌 Read: The COVID-19 Pandemic and Education
Students, teachers and parents using online learning during COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic brought major changes to education systems around the world. Schools were closed to protect students, teachers, and families, forcing learning to continue in new ways.

More than 1.2 billion children were affected globally and could no longer attend school in person. As a result, education rapidly shifted to online and digital platforms.

During this period, teachers delivered lessons through virtual classrooms, parents supported learning at home, and students developed new digital skills. Research suggests that well-designed online learning can improve understanding and information retention.

Although the pandemic was challenging, it highlighted the importance of technology in education. Many digital learning methods introduced during COVID-19 are likely to remain part of education in the future.
